Israel must avoid escalation of its conflict with Iran, otherwise it will lead to the death of the Israeli state, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on February 9 on the program Conversation with a Sage on channel Zvezda.
“The only thing that is feasible in the foreign policy today but will be impossible later is to try to persuade Israel to avoid the Iranian trap, which will end with the end its state. Israel, in turn, will persuade Trump, who will come, and then we will get a configuration we will be more or less happy with,” the leader of Essence of Time said.
At the same time, the political scientist stressed how low chances for such a configuration are. He noted that Iran and Israel are in a condition of a suicidal feud, which is an axis “inside which the reality of a nuclear war is evolving.”
Sergey Kurginyan noted that everyone in Iran understands this. According to the political scientist, they know what US bombardment is and what the consequences of a major war will be. However, he expressed confidence that Iran is far from wanting such a major war to happen.
“On their Olympus today there is a generation that remembers the Iran-Iraq war. They do not want that disaster to happen again. They demonstrate their best behavior, although in a way not to lose respect in the Islamic world,” the leader of Essence of Time explained.
Sergey Kurginyan added that in this situation Iran, on the one hand, is shaking its fists, but, on the other hand, it avoids making any serious attacks. “One attack will be the end of Israel,” he added.
