Rosoboronexport CEO: Delivery of S-400 air defense systems to India meets deadline

06.02.2024, Riyadh.

The contract with India for the supply of S-400 is being fulfilled according to the established deadline, said Aleksandr Mikheyev, CEO of state company Rosoboronexport, RIA Novosti reported on February 6.

“The contract is being fulfilled within the deadlines set by agreement by the parties,” Mikheyev said when asked whether the major contract with New Delhi had been derailed.

The contract for delivering S-400 Triumf systems to India was concluded in 2018. In 2023, The Times of India, citing a source in the Indian Defense Ministry, reported that the delivery of a batch of Russian S-400s was delayed.
