12 people were killed in the AFU shelling of the Kirovsky district of Donetsk, the head of the city Aleksey Kulemzin said in his Telegram channel on January 21.
“According to updated information, the number of killed in the Kirovsky district has increased to 12,” the mayor wrote.
Earlier he reported that eight people became victims of shelling by the Ukrainian military.
The given district is located in the southwestern part of Donetsk. It is one of the residential areas of the city.
It is noted that at least six shells of 155-mm caliber were fired into the city in the Tekstilshchik neighborhood, where the market and many retail outlets are located.
