Essence of Time’s members explain essence of Ukrainian nationalism to Russia’s National Guard servicemen

15.01.2024, Kemerovo.

Representatives of the public movement Essence of Time gave a lecture on the Nazi essence of the Ukrainian nationalist regiment “Azov” (organization banned in Russia) based on the materials of the multi-authored monograph “Ukrainism” was delivered to the soldiers of the Kemerovo unit of Russia’s National Guard on January 10, according to a Rossa Primavera News Agency‘s correspondent.

For the lecture, Essence of Time‘s members used the chapter “Azov (organization banned in Russia). From Kharkov underground cell to an international neo-Nazi network,” published from the second edition of the monograph “Ukrainism”. The monograph discusses in detail the origins of Ukraine’s modern Nazi ideology, the stages of the creation of the construct “Ukrainism” and its close connection to the current Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

The listeners were told in detail about the ideology of the neo-Nazi unit, about the cult of Stepan Bandera and OUN-UPA (organization banned in Russia) in the organization. The members of this neo-Nazi organization believe that Ukrainians are some kind of “vanguard of white humanity” that should take over Donbass and the entire European part of Russia.

The Azov (an organization banned in Russia) movement is closely connected with occultism. Thus, the ideologues of the Ukrainian nationalist battalion directly call for the initiation of its members through murder and crime. In this way, the neo-Nazis intend to extinguish their “inner light” and become “superhumans”.

At the same time, the Banderites do not hide their connection to Hitler’s Nazism. For example, one of the names of the unit is “Black Corps”. This was the name of the SS newspaper in the 1930s.

In addition, the Ukrainian neo-Nazis have also adopted Hitler’s symbolism of the “black sun”, the rising of which means the end of the world.

The multi-authored monograph “Ukrainism” was written by the Aleksandrovskoye Commune under the leadership of philosopher, political scientist, leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan. The first edition of the monograph was published in 2017.

The second edition, significantly revised and including an analysis of contemporary events, specifically the Russian special operation, was released in 2023. Presentations of the first two volumes of the second edition were held in Moscow, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Sevastopol, and Irkutsk. Four more volumes are planned for publishing.
