Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov tells about opening of 4,000 criminal cases against the regime in Kiev

31.12.2023, Moscow.

The Investigative Committee (IC) has opened more than four thousand cases against 900 representatives of the regime in Kiev, including Ukraine’s leaders, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with RIA Novosti on December 31.

They include not only members of radical nationalist associations, representatives of Ukrainian security forces and mercenaries, but also representatives of Ukraine’s military and political leadership,” the minister said.

He emphasized that investigators have been recording crimes of the regime in Kiev since 2014, not only from the beginning of the SMO.

Lavrov is convinced that all participants in crimes against the population of Donbass will bear the deserved responsibility.

It should be noted that the commander of the air forces of the AFU, Nikolay Oleshchuk, has been put on the wanted list by the Russian Interior Ministry.
