The Ukrainian militants attacked a car with a family of three and an ambulance with drones, the chairman of the Kherson region government Andrey Alekseenko wrote on his Telegram channel on December 15.
Medical workers were on their way from Alyoshkinskaya hospital to help seriously wounded family members who were hit by a Ukrainian FPV drone strike. The Ukrainian military struck the ambulance as well.
The published photo shows how the drone blast bent the car’s rear doors and shattered the windows. The car’s interior room was covered with shrapnel.
“It is a miracle that none of the medical workers were injured. As they say in such cases, God saved,” Alekseenko wrote.
Doctors treated the injured and sent them to the hospital in another car.
