Not to stop the offensive in Gaza despite international pressure, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and former Defense Minister Benny Gantz vowed at a joint press conference on November 11.
“Firmly confront the world if necessary,” Netanyahu, Gallant and Gantz vowed in response to growing criticism from the international community.
Netanyahu said Israel would oppose the return of the Palestinian Authority to Gaza after the hostilities end.
He responded sharply to the criticism of French President Emmanuel Macron, who called on Israel to stop strikes that kill children, women and the elderly.
On November 10, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said “too many Palestinians have been killed” and called for more measures to protect Gaza civilians and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid.
On November 11, French President Emmanuel Macron said there was no excuse for Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip. He stated, “De facto – today civilians are being bombed. These babies, these women, these old people have been bombed and killed.“
Macron called on Israel to stop the bombing.
He added that France also condemns the actions of Hamas.
