Russian air defense systems shot down eight British Storm Shadow missiles over Crimea, Russian Ministry of Defense reports on October 30.
“About 1:00 PM, Kiev’s regime attempt to attack targets in Crimea with eight Storm Shadow cruise missiles was terminated”, said in the official statement.
It is reported that all missiles were shot down due to countermeasures conducted by the operating air defense systems.
Earlier, the governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev reported that a missile strike on the city was coming from Ukraine.
As a result of the attack, one man was injured by the fragments from a downed rocket. Fragments also fell near one of the Sevastopol schools and damaged residential buildings in several city areas.
