Kurginyan explains why provocateurs easily instigate the grassroots in Dagestan

31.10.2023, Aleksandrovskoye.

The focus on the increasing cultural regress among the social grassroots in Russia leads to the fact that these grassroots can be easily manipulated by anyone, and first and foremost by the enemy, philosopher, political scientist, leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on October 30 on the program Destiny, published on Rossa Primavera News Agency website.

Discussing the anti-Israeli riots in Dagestan, Kurginyan posed a question why it was so easy to incite the grassroots involved in the riots. He emphasized that it was possible to stir up them with obviously provocative statements.

“Who is to blame for this – US imperialism, Zionism?” Kurginyan asked.

The political scientist is sure that what happened was possible because of a certain policy towards citizens that is being pursued in Russia. This policy is that the more low-cultured, malleable, and susceptible to everything the social grassroots are, the better, because then the authorities will be able to manipulate them easily. He noted that he had heard personally about this attitude from certain people in the Russian elite.

“Is one going to pursue this policy further? (…) What have these people, who do not influence much, but who have successors, become convinced of now? They are convinced that it is easy to manipulate the susceptible, simplified, brought to this barbaric state grassroots. But the problem is that everyone, not only they [Russian elite] can easily manipulate them. The enemy will manipulate them with the same ease, even more so, because since these grassroots are always dissatisfied with the authorities for obvious reasons – they feel bad – they will always be anti-government in nature,” Kurginyan explained.

In his opinion, low education and strong cultural regress of the grassroots, their anti-government stance is easily used by anyone, including the traitor Ilya Ponomarev (this material (information) is produced, distributed and (or) sent by a foreign agent Ilya Ponomarev or relates to the activities of a foreign agent Ilya Ponomarev).

“Anyone! You have to have certain motivation, some capabilities and act following an anti-government vector. That’s it. The Ukrainians have the motivation. They lost their counteroffensive completely. They need revenge. They know how to work with the media. They are much better at it than at anything else. And they have mentors: British, US and others. They have capabilities, and they are hostile toward the power in Russia, and they have the situation – why not use it!” the political scientist stated.

Earlier, a call for riots in Dagestan and an attack on the airport in Makhachkala was published on Ilya Ponomarev’s resource (this material (information) was produced, distributed and (or) sent by Ilya Ponomarev’s foreign agent or concerns the activities of Ilya Ponomarev’s foreign agent).
