Iran’s supreme leader warns Israel against crimes against Palestinians

17.10.2023, Tehran.

Muslims are outraged and may lose patience if Israel continues to commit crimes in the Gaza Strip, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said, Tasnim News Agency wrote on October 17.

“Muslim countries are outraged. They are very angry. People are driven to a fury. If the crimes continue, the Muslims will lose patience, the resistance forces will lose patience, and no one will be able to stop them,” Khamenei said.

The Iranian supreme leader cited the numerous rallies in support of Palestine that have taken place in Muslim countries, Europe and the United States as proof of his words.

On October 7, the attack of Hamas members on the cities of southern Israel led to a sharp escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Also, in response to the actions of Hamas, Israel imposed a blockade on the Gaza Strip and began to launch massive strikes on objects in the enclave.

On October 16, representatives of the World Health Organization said, “The lack of water, electricity and fuel in the Gaza Strip within 24 hours will turn into a real catastrophe.”

On October 16, the UN Commission of Inquiry on Israel and the Palestinian territories called in its report the Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip in the period from May 2021 to August 2023 a war crime.
