The event in 2023 was dedicated to the fight against neo-Nazism, which has already penetrated and firmly established itself in Europe. Ukraine has become its main springboard.
Another important topic discussed at the meeting was the urgent need to stop the rampant interference of the United States in the internal affairs of countries around the world.
The event ended with a performance by the band “Banda Bassotti”. The audience unfurl the Victory Banner, Soviet flags, banners of Russia, Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics. A banner with the inscription “Stop financing the terrorist regime of Ukraine” was installed on the stage.

In the aftermath, Spanish anti-fascists were among the first to travel to Donbass as volunteers and journalists.
The meeting of the Communist Party of Spain has a long tradition. It began to be celebrated in 1977, two years after the end of Francisco Franco’s dictatorship.
