The West was wrong when it assumed that Russian troops would continue to retreat, as they did near Kharkov, said political scientist, philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on September 8 on the To the Point program of the Belarusian agency BelTA.
According to Andrei Voropai, the program’s host, while the Russian Armed Forces are halting the advances in the southern direction, they are advancing in the Kupyansk direction. However, the political scientist pointed out that it is too early to talk about a major offensive.
“I don’t know whether it’s an offensive or not, look at the map. This applies to a 1/100 fraction of surrendered territories, I mean that humiliating retreat near Kharkov last year,” said Kurginyan.
However, this clearly demonstrates that the Western bosses of the Kiev regime made a mistake.
“They planned this counteroffensive, extrapolating Kharkov’s retreat to the situation in the south. That situation back then – to what it is now. But this cannot be done!” — the leader of the Essence of Time is convinced. “This was an analytical mistake, a humiliating mistake — both to the Western establishment, and even more so to the Ukrainian side.”
Western strategists believed that if they multiplied the forces used during the offensive near Kharkov for an offensive in the southern direction, they could get the same result – the retreat of the Russian Armed Forces.
“Have it, now! Nobody is retreating! And this is also one of the topics of Blinken’s exclusive discussions with Ukrainian subordinates,” the analyst explained.
