The United States does not want Russia’s rapprochement with Europe and is doing everything it can to prevent it, political scientist, philosopher, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on August 25 on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio station.
“The past will not return because no one needs it. The United States does not want any convergence between Russia and Europe that our country is pursuing. Any softening of our relations with Europe does not serve US goals. The further we are from Europe, the better it is for the Anglo-Saxons – for the United Kingdom and the United States,” Sergey Kurginyan noted.
Kurginyan added that the USA is now running the show, and they are doing everything to sever the ties between Russia and Europe. Even if Europe wants this convergence, the US elites will not allow it, because Europe is their “lackey.”
Essence of Time’s leader emphasized that the USA needs to show the whole world what consequence the “disobedience” that Russia has demonstrated has, and they have found a pretext.
“The US elites need to destroy Russia slowly and finally, so that through this…to end the disobedience that has begun. The USA is shaking. It wants to show, ‘Well, did you see how the Russians were fiercely opposing there, and how did this end up?’” the political scientist explained.
Kurginyan gave two more reasons why the USA wants to deal with Russia. According to him, it is necessary to deprive China of its ally Russia and to place its nuclear forces on the former Russian-Chinese border.
“The US elites need this badly. Extremely. The US military-industrial complex [needs this]… To ramp up weapons production now. It is the money that is right now is flowing into the pockets of Lockheed Martin and everyone else. And they think it is not enough, they want more, and more, and more,” Kurginyan specified.
