Kiev used an S-200 missile converted into a strike version in its attempt to strike the Crimean bridge on August 12, according to the Russian Defense Ministry’s press service.
“On August 12, at about 1:00 p.m. Moscow time, the Kiev regime attempted to launch a terrorist strike on the Crimean bridge with an anti-aircraft guided missile S-200, converted into a strike variant,” the ministry said.
Russian air defense forces detected and intercepted the Ukrainian missile launched at the Crimean bridge. There was no damage and no one was injured, the ministry added.
Earlier the Crimean authorities reported about the smoke screen installed by special services near the Crimean bridge and three enemy missiles shot down in the area of the Kerch Strait.
