German military company Rheinmetall intends to transfer several dozen Leopard 1 tanks to the Kiev regime, the Handelsblatt newspaper reported on August 9.
According to the newspaper, the German defense concern bought the decommissioned vehicles from the Belgian Armed Forces.
Now Rheinmetall plans to repair and re-equip the tanks, after which some of them, about 30 units, will be handed over to the Ukrainian troops.
