The African Union should become a full-fledged member of the G20 association, and Russia will seek this decision at the next summit of the international association in India, President Vladimir Putin said at the Russia-Africa forum in St. Petersburg on July 27.
According to President Putin, Russia expects the decision to join the African Union to the G20 will be taken at the next summit in India.
On July 27-28, St. Petersburg hosts the second Russia-Africa summit with the participation of many leaders of the states of the African continent.
