Lithuanian Defense Ministry announces plans to supply military aid to Ukraine until 2026

The volume of military assistance that Lithuania intends to provide to Ukraine until 2026 will be around €200 million in monetary terms, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the republic reported on June 28.

The plan to provide military support to Ukraine has been developed, according to which it will be at least €200 million from 2024 to 2026,” the message reads.

It is noted that Ukraine will receive 10 M-113 armored personnel carriers, thus with the new delivery the number of these armored vehicles will reach 72 vehicles.

Lithuania also plans to transfer 12.5 million rounds of ammunition to Kiev in 2023.

Lithuania announced the purchase of two upgraded NASAMS air defense missile defense systems from the Norwegian company Kongsberg on June 27. Lithuania promised to supply them to Ukraine in the nearest future.
