Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani called the ongoing armed rebellion of Yevgeny Prigozhin, founder of the Wagner PMC, an internal matter in Russia, the Iranian Ministry’s press service reported on June 24.
“Iran supports the rule of law in the Russian Federation,” Nasser Kanaani added.
Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan voiced support for Russian President Vladimir Putin in opposing the Wagner PMC rebellion.
