Kurginyan: There will be three different territories instead of Ukraine

24.06.2023, Aleksandrovskoye.

Anti-Russian, conditionally Russian and genuinely Russian territories will emerge in the place of the former Ukraine, the philosopher, political analyst and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on June 9 on the program Conversation with a Sage on Radio Zvezda.

The political scientist added that it is these territories that must be created. “At the same time, the genuinely Russian territory must become dominant with conditionally Russian one being connected to it on its terms, and anti-Russian must be cut off. Let the Poles take a certain part of Western Ukraine. Let the Hungarians deal with the part they are interested in,” Kurginyan stressed, adding that the Russian Federation has other goals.

The philosopher reminded of the situation with the Moldavian SSR. If Russia had accepted Transnistria after the collapse of the USSR, “Moldavia would have rolled back from us.”

“First and foremost, there would have been a referendum there, too. And secondly, what would this departed Moldavia be? A poorly organized territory, mostly agricultural and destitute internally or almost poverty-ridden, a part of which the Romanians would want to occupy,” Kurginyan said.

The political scientist believes that, at the same time, the territory which does not like Russia very much and does not like Romania at all, “was reflecting whether it should join our narrative on our terms, not on its own, or to join the Romanians?”

Most likely, part of the territory would have joined the Romanians. Russia would have lost a scrap already cut off.”

“Something small would have crawled back to us, and there would have been a new border, or, as they say, a civilizational rift. The same thing would have happened everywhere,” the philosopher stressed.

According to Kurginyan, even in Central Asia, there is “something pro-Russian, which is ready to come here. And there is something completely anti-Russian, and there is something in between.”

According to Kurginyan, the completely anti-Russian parts in Central Asia will be captured by “either ISIL (organization banned in Russia) or China.”

“And those who hesitate, where they want to stay less there or with us, when this expansion begins (and it is in full swing)?” Kurginyan poses a question.
