Ukrainian neo-Nazism does not exist separately from the Western one. Opinion

The Ukrainian Nazi enemy cannot be considered separately from the European and the world’s Russophobic Nazism in general, said vice president of the Experimental Creative Center Yury Byaly in his article “The Decisive War” published in the Essence of Time newspaper on June 11.

Byaly recalled that Nazism originated in France, and that Europe very quickly and almost entirely “lay down” under Hitler’s German Nazism.

During World War II, a total of about 5 million people from almost all of Europe fought against the Soviet Union. Hitler was supported hugely by the entire power of European industry as well.

Not only Germany’s allies in the Nazi bloc – Italy, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Finland, Slovakia – but practically all the occupied countries were forcing their industrial capacity into the war,” recalls Byaly.

Italy was building powerful battleships, producing turbines and automobiles, and dramatically increasing aluminum and steel smelting. The Czech Republic had 40 percent of the world’s combined arms market, a powerful auto and aircraft industry and uninterrupted supplies of arms, cars and planes to Germany; Romania gave Germany not only the most divisions, but also provided 75 percent of German oil needs,” he added.

Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, Portugal, and Finland supplied their products to Nazi Germany.

Having not only jobs but also high wages thanks to these orders, a considerable part of European workers, technicians and engineers regarded the period of the Nazi occupation as a kind of ‘golden age’,” said Byaly.

So it is no accident that a very significant part of the European population was not enthusiastically welcomed by the Soviet soldiers-liberators.

The expert told how after World War II the US and Britain began to collect all Fascist inheritance – from career officers and SS officers to the Nazi activists – the Bandera activists in their countries, to promote them to important government positions in order to land them in 1991-1992 in the “non-independent” Ukraine.
