The fire at Afipsk oil refinery in the Kuban in Russia is completely extinguished, the governor of the region Veniamin Kondratiev said on May 31 on his Telegram-channel.
“The fire at the Afipsk refinery has been completely extinguished,” Kondratyev said.
He also thanked all the emergency services involved in extinguishing the fire. No one was injured as a result of the incident.
Earlier, the governor said that the fire at the refinery might have been caused by a drone attack.
