Kurginyan explains why Ukraine will not win in a war of attrition

Ukraine cannot win a war of attrition against Russia, even with Western support, said political scientist Sergey Kurginyan on May 13 during the broadcast of the Right to Know! program on the TVC channel.

In response to a question regarding the statement made by Valery Zaluzhny, Ukrainian Defence Minister, the commander in chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, that after the victory Ukraine must be assured security guarantees and options for self-defense and become a powerful military state like Israel, Sergey Kurginyan explained that this is impossible. First, Ukraine cannot win, and secondly, Kiev will not be able to build a powerful military state.

“One hundred and forty-five million people in Russia and twenty-five million in Ukraine. Where will Zelensky get people to fight the war? The West is arming, all the money is borrowed. The military-industrial complexes of two countries are not even comparable … Where is the military industry in Ukraine? Ukrainian political leaders have brought the country to the state of a complete degradation,” explained the political scientist.

Therefore, Zelensky’s only calculation is to foster unrest within Russia, believes Sergey Kurginyan.

The main reason why it is impossible to build a powerful militarized state in Ukraine, like Israel, is because the Ukrainian authorities themselves are not interested in building such a state, they are trying as hard as they can to sell it, noted the analyst.

“If you want to accomplish something, then you build your own military-industrial complex, dear. Where is your military-industrial might? Why are you weeping like a beggar about every single gun barrel?” – Sergey Kurginyan explained the behavior of the Ukrainian side.

Ukraine’s Western masters see this and treat Vladimir Zelensky and his team accordingly – with the utmost contempt, explained the political scientist.

The analyst explained that if Ukrainian nationalists of the Hitler’s era thought of at least some kind of independence for Ukraine, then modern Kiev is prepared to simply sell off the country. Bandera, who was a complete bastard and kowtowed to Nazi Germany, wanted an independent Ukraine, but Zelensky does not need it.

“Meanwhile, these Western masters look with contempt, with cold calculation at the situation at hand, and they are figuring out precisely how much they will pay for this pathetic creature, which has been reduced to nothing by its leaders. Leaders! This used to be a country! It could be growing, instead – it is on a downward slide,” concluded the political scientist.
