Two brigades of the Ukrainian armed units attempted to regain lost positions in the Krasny Liman direction, the head of the press center of the Center military grouping Aleksandr Savchuk said on May 23, RIA Novosti informed.
The 81 Air Mobile Brigade and 63 Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian armed units participated in the attempt to regain positions near the village of Torskoe and Serebryanskoe forestry. Russian artillery responded to the counterattack with a massive fire strike inflicting “significant losses in personnel and equipment.”
The Russia aviation struck enemy strongholds.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, in the previous 24 hours, two howitzers, two armored vehicles, three vehicles and up to 55 soldiers fighting for the fascist Ukraine were destroyed in the Krasny Liman direction.
