Russian troops destroyed a mortar and an ammunition depot of the Ukrainian armed units on the Kupyansk sector of the front with artillery fire in the past 24 hours, the head of the press center of the army group West Sergey Zybinskiy, RIA Novosti informed on May 18.
“Artillery crews using the Grad multiple rocket launcher systems and Msta-S howitzers destroyed a mortar crew near the village of Sinkovka and a depot with ammunition near the villages of Berestovoye and Kislovka,” Zybinskiy said.
According to him, the aviation struck concentrations of soldiers and military equipment of the 14th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian armed units and territorial defence units on the Kupyansk sector of the front.
