The Ukrainian authorities were involved in assassinations of media personalities in Russia, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Kirill Budanov said in an interview with journalist Valery Savchuk, published on Youtube on May 16.
“We got many, including public, media personalities,” he said in response to a question about whether the Ukrainian armed units are capable of eliminating RT head Margarita Simonyan and VGTRK journalist Vladimir Solovyov.
Earlier, Budanov said that Ukraine would kill Russian citizens anywhere in the world to bring its victory closer.
The Ukrainian TV channel 2+2 showed a film calling for the extrajudicial killing of well-known Russian journalists.
