Almost the entire Artemovsk is under the control of Russian troops, RIA Novosti informed on May 11 referring to the assessment of the Wagner PMC fighters.
One of the fighters noted that there were only 742 meters to the complete liberation of Artemovsk, which he estimated from his building to the exit from the city along Yubileynaya and Levanevsky streets. It is through these streets that the Ukrainian troops are supplied.
He also added that Ukrainian forces were desperately resisting and were actively shelling Russian positions with artillery. At the moment, the Ukrainian armed units have retreated behind Chaykovsky street, where they are trying to hold the line of defense.
