High-precision strikes were carried out by the Russian military against temporary deployment points and ammunition depots of the Ukrainian Army, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on May 9.
The strikes on enemy targets were carried out with long-range precision weapons of naval and aviation basing.
“The purpose of the strike has been achieved. All designated targets have been hit,” the Russian defense ministry said in a statement.
The preemptive strikes made it possible to cut off the advance of the enemy’s reserves and the delivery of ammunition to the line of fire.
