The Kiev regime attempted to attack the Russian president’s residence in the Kremlin using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on the night of May 2 to 3, 2023, the press service of the Russian presidential administration said on May 3.

It is noted that no one was injured as a result of the incident, and the plans of Russian President Vladimir Putin were not disrupted.

“Due to timely actions taken by the military and special services using radar combat systems, the devices were taken out of action,” the statement reads.

The press service also informed that the Kremlin considers these actions to be a planned terrorist action and an attempt on the President’s life, carried out on the eve of Victory Day, the May 9 parade, which is expected to be attended by foreign guests.

The Russian side reserves the right to retaliate when and where it sees fit.
