A delegation from Germany will deliver humanitarian aid to Crimea for the regions recently reunited with Russia, Yuri Hempel, the head of the Crimean parliament’s committee for people’s diplomacy and interethnic relations, said, RIA Novosti informed on April 21.
“Natives of Germany have begun in their homeland to collect humanitarian aid for the population of the new regions of our country. They want to come to Crimea to personally deliver humanitarian aid to residents of the neighboring Kherson region,” Hempel said.
He noted that the delegation’s arrival from Germany is planned for May. Currently, the parties are preparing the route, as well as the program of the trip.
Earlier, the representative of the Crimean parliament Vladimir Konstantinov addressed former US President Donald Trump and businessman Elon Musk, inviting them to visit the peninsula. He stressed that the visit to Crimea would radically change their lives, allowing them to look at many things differently.
