Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova posed a question on her Telegram channel on April 6 whether France rejects the US deployment of nuclear weapons on foreign territory.
“Do I understand correctly that this firm demand of Paris is addressed to Washington?” she asked the question.
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron said that no country “under any circumstances” can place nuclear weapons on someone else’s territory.
