The Chinese Foreign Ministry has no information about Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenski’s desire to meet with Xi Jinping in Ukraine, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said at a briefing on March 29.
“China is communicating with all parties, including Ukraine, on the issue of Ukraine. As for specific details, I have no information to provide,” she said.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry noted that communication with the Ukrainian side is maintained, but there is no information about a possible meeting.
Earlier Zelensky said in an interview with the Associated Press agency that he would talk to Xi Jinping.
