Is it no longer possible to achieve peace in Ukraine after the ICC decision?

28.03.2023, Moscow.

A peaceful settlement in Ukraine is impossible after the International Criminal Court (ICC) declared Russian President Vladimir Putin a criminal, according to summaries from the war theater published in the Essence of Time newspaper.

It is noteworthy that even presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov, who has long spoken about the need for a peaceful solution, stated on March 14 that the goals of Russia’s special military operation can only be achieved by military means.

After March 18 and the ICC decision, in which the UK plays the leading role, none of the Western warmongers will “negotiate” with Putin. The West is seeking Russia’s capitulation.

“Peskov was almost the last Russian official to admit that a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine was impossible.

However, it was the ICC that put the final point in the matter by issuing an arrest warrant against Putin and thus declaring him unsuitable for peacefule negotiations.

From now on, a necessary (but not sufficient) condition for signing a peace treaty with Ukraine is a change of power in Russia.”
