Preventing rapprochement between Russia and Ukraine, as well as Russia and Germany – these are the two cards that the West is playing in the confrontation with Russia, stated philosopher, political scientist, leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on the Right to Know program on the TVC TV channel on February 18.
Referring to the Brzezinski School, the political scientist noted that the main card in the conflict between the West and Russia is Ukraine, which should not become a part of Russia’s sphere of interest. On this issue there is no disagreement between Democrats and Republicans in the United States, Kurginyan stressed.
“In general, it has always been the Russian empire. This is what cannot be rebuilt. And the cornerstone here is Ukraine,” he said.
The second card the West is playing in the war against Russia is Germany.
“Under no circumstances, under no conditions can there be a rapprochement between Russia and Germany. There can be no real strengthening of Germany, there can be no situation in which Europe will challenge the United States,” the political scientist described the joint position of the US leaders.
At the same time, what the West calls Euro-Atlantic solidarity does not really exist.
“There is no Euro-Atlantic solidarity, if you please. Everybody observes Europe through the slit of a rifle scope,” Kurginyan stressed.
