Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi will visit China in the coming days, Mehr news agency reported on February 12.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said that Ibrahim Raisi will visit China at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping. He will stay in China from February 14 to 16.
The two sides are expected to hold talks and sign new cooperation agreements during the visit.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry was said to be preparing for the Iranian president’s visit to the PRC at the end of November.
China’s and Iran’s turnover for the first 11 months of last year increased by 11%. The supplies of Chinese products to Iran increased significantly.
