Russian artillery destroyed a group of Ukrainian infantrymen sent as reinforcements to Ukrainian militants’ positions near Avdeevka, RIA Novosti wrote on February 10.
On February 9, the Ukrainian command sent a unit to a fortified position near Avdeevka. Russian Armed Forces reconnaissance spotted the movement of the military, and the coordinates of their location were handed over to the artillery crews. The Ukrainian militants were attacked using Giatsint 152-mm guns.
Thermal imaging video footage makes it possible to confirm the complete elimination of the enemy’s group.
Earlier, the acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushylin, said that by leaving Avdeevka, the Ukrainian troops would lose the ability to shell Donetsk and Yasinovataya. This means that the enemy will hold its position without considering losses.
