The West really loves fighting Russia by proxy, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on February 3 in an interview to the Union channel of Donetsk.
Kurginyan noted that the world is much more complicated today than it was before. He stressed that the Western elites seeking to spark a war mistreat their people, and the anti-war sentiments that are present in the society will not be able to stop them.
“As for any sentiments in Europe or in America that could stop the warmongers… Well, these sentiments have always been present, but they never stopped anyone,” the political scientist noted.
As an example, Kurginyan referred to the war of the United States in Vietnam. He stressed that then the anti-war sentiments failed to stop the US from unleashing the war. The political scientist added that it was the power of the Vietnamese army supported by the Soviet Union that stopped the US.
“Therefore, of course, they will wage the war, and they will do it by proxy, this is what they love very, very much,” Kurginyan said.
However, in his opinion, the key factor today will not be the armored vehicles that the United States and Europe supply to Kiev. The political scientist stressed that the key factor that the West will try to use is people – highly trained, with good weapons and equipment.
