The deceptive legend about the superiority of Western equipment can be turned against the enemy by demonstratively showing how this equipment burns, stated philosopher, analyst, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in an interview with Anna Shafran on Radio Zvezda, published on January 27 on YouTube.
The political scientist noted that in order for tank units to really clash on the battle field in a serious war, there must be, for example, two thousand units on each side – then it is a tank battle. And if we’re talking about the West supplying a hundred or a hundred and fifty or two hundred vehicles, then we’re not talking about those kinds of battles.
“Besides, if the enemy raises the value of these Abrams and all that stuff so much, sky rocketing, then, in my view, the task is to order those who are in charge to train special hunters for these few vehicles, give the guys bonuses for showing how they burn,” Kurginyan suggested.
He explained that any inflated rate – if we’re gambling – will turn out to be a loss for the enemy if we have at least minimal means of countering it.
“As my sambo teacher Anatoly Kharlampiev used to say, the stronger and heavier your opponent is, the faster he falls, if you do the right takedown. In this sense we exist in a subject-subject interaction. They play, we play. They say Abrams are so good – we have to show how they burn,” the expert concluded.
Kurginyan explained that the legend of the power of Western tanks is a blatant lie that was created as a result of the wars in Iraq. He stressed that in reality, the West’s victory over Saddam Hussein was mainly due to the fact that the Americans bought the Iraqi elite and proclaimed to the world the greatness of Abrams and other equipment. In addition, the West deployed thousands of such vehicles in Iraq, the expert explained.
“I don’t want to say that Abrams or Leopards are bad equipment. They are good vehicles. With its flaws and with its advantages. But it burns well. It all repeats the story with the Tigers: the frontal armor is very serious, and it is difficult to hit. (…) They are good machines. So what?” – Kurginyan stated.
