The town of Mariinka is practically under full control of the Russian Armed Forces, DPR head Denis Pushilin said on January 11 on the air of the TV channel Solovyov Live.
“The town [of Mariinka] is practically under our control already,” Pushilin said.
The DPR head stipulated that the enemy managed to gain a foothold in some houses of residential development on the outskirts of the city.
“This affects the time needed to liberate this town,” Pushilin stated.
On December 15, 2022, the DPR head said that Mariinka was liberated by 80 percent.
Note that Marinka is located to the west of Donetsk and is actually adjacent to the Petrovsky district of the city.
