The amount of Western aid to the Kiev regime since the start of the special operation has exceeded Russia’s defense expenditures, according to official statements and publications, TASS reported on January 11.

The total amount of foreign aid provided to Ukraine since the start of the special operation (February 24, 2022) has exceeded $150.8 billion. It was 2.7 times the total budget of Ukraine ($55.5 billion).

For military needs, Ukraine received about $48.5 billion in aid (about a third of all aid).

Russia’s defense spending in 2022 was $51.1 billion. Thus, total Western aid to Ukraine was three times higher than Russia’s defense budget, and Western military aid to Ukraine since the start of the special operation reached 95% of Russia’s defense spending for the entire year.
