If the USA had the means to destroy Russia, it would immediately use it, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova wrote on December 16 on her Telegram channel.
Zakharova responded to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who said that if there was a way to expel Russia from the UN Security Council, the United States would immediately to do so.
“If there were the means to eliminate Russia, they would do it immediately,” Zakharova countered.
Zakharova continued that if the USA had the opportunity, it would seize “all the oil, all the gas, all the gold, all the diamonds, all the potable water and everything in the world, it would proceed to that immediately.”
“If there was a way to take over the universe, they would do that immediately, too,” the diplomat added.
“There’s just no such way, thank God. Otherwise, they would have started it all at once,” the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry concluded.
On December 15, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre explained at the briefing that, as the USA “unfortunately” cannot change the UN rules, and they cannot exclude Russia from the Security Council, they are using all their forces at taking measures for the isolation of Russia. The USA does this by imposing various sanctions on Russia, Jean-Pierre pointed out.
On December 9, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political analyst and philosopher Sergei Kurginyan said that the West wants to punish Russia for “disobedience” to the maximum. The political scientist is convinced that the West wants everyone to understand just how great “the American master of the world” is, so that no one else in the world would dare to encroach on his power.
