Kiev unleashed terror against the peaceful people of Russia with the support of Washington, which will not be able to evade responsibility for what it has done, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing on December 15.
Commenting on the US involvement in the Ukrainian conflict, Zakharova recalled the sabotage committed by the Ukrainian military in Russian cities and towns.
The Kiev regime carries out these actions with the approval of the United States, which is directly involved in artillery and missile systems’ fire adjustment, as well as supplying satellite intelligence information to the Ukrainian armed units, she noted.
According to the diplomat, such support from Washington inspires Ukrainian politicians to talk about the intention to strike critical infrastructure near Moscow.
“Washington, which has effectively become a party to the conflict, will not be able to shirk its complicity in the terror unleashed by the Kiev regime against Russian civilians and absolve itself of responsibility for the deaths and destruction caused by US weapons under US guidance,” Zakharova stressed.
On December 14, the Ukrainian armed units once again shelled the town of Klintsy in the Bryansk region. Russian air defenses shot down all the fired missiles. The debris of the downed rockets interrupted the power supply to the village of Ardon.
