If the special operation had not started, by 2030-2032 Russia would have found itself unable to awaken from its deadly dream of the recent decades, said analyst, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time social movement Sergey Kurginyan in an interview to Anna Shafran on the Zvezda radio station published on December 9 on YouTube.
“Why did I support everything that is taking place from the very beginning and continue to do so? Because it was decaying peacefully. It continued to decay. And in some 2030-2032 we would have come to our senses to find that we have nothing at all, and that we have neither will nor motivation. This was a deadly dream…” the philosopher explained.
He noted that over the past 25 years, many fields in Russia have become overgrown with trees, and no major numbers of agricultural equipment are produced, because we do not need so much of if, and the cow houses built in the Soviet Union have turned into ruins.
“This is a dream <…> And we could wake up in 2030s to look back and see that we have nothing anymore, that everything has been ‘optimized,’” Kurginyan explained.
He stressed that the awakening of Russia is now taking place in a difficult and disturbing manner, but is is necessary.
“It is like we wake up confused, dull, slow, in a semi-paralyzed condition, as in a state of drunkenness, and we hit all the corners of the reality, and we slip on every slippery floor, and we fall cursing, etc. – and still this is better than if we kept sleeping,” the political scientist added.
He also noted that Russia could not avoid the current conflict, and that we cannot return to a peaceful co-existence with the West. If our country fails to awaken now, then no one can tell when it can happen at all.
“All this has come for the Russian soul. And we have a potential; this is why I agree that this [the conflict in Ukraine] is a metaphysical task for us to awaken before it is too late,” Sergey Kurginyan stressed.
