The Russian troops repulsed an attempted attack of Ukrainian motorized infantry in the Zaporozhye region, chairman of the We Together with Russia movement and a member of the main council of the regional administration Vladimir Rogov said, RIA Novosti reported on December 14.
“Another attempt of a company of motorized infantry of the Zelensky militants to advance in the northeastern section of the contact line has been foiled,” Rogov said.
He explained that Russian artillery destroyed three armored vehicles, three SUVs and about 50 militants.
Strikes were carried out on Ukrainian armed units’ positions near the villages of Kamenskoye and Zheltaya Krucha. As a result, a command post of Ukrainian troops and an ammunition depot with a stockpile of missiles for US HIMARS rocket launchers were destroyed.
