Oil storage facility caught fire at Kursk airfield after drone attack

In Kursk, the elimination of the consequences of the fire at the airfield oil storage facility, which was attacked by a drone launched by the Ukrainian armed units in the morning, continues, the Governor of Kursk region Roman Starovoyt wrote on his Telegram channel on December 6.

According to him, because of the fire at the airfield classes were canceled in two schools in Khalino and in the village of Marshal Zhukov.

“I want to thank our firefighters who continue to eliminate the fire,” Starovoit wrote.

Earlier in the morning, the governor wrote that the Ukrainian armed units attacked the Kursk airfield with the help of a drone, as a result the oil tanker caught fire. “There are no casualties. The fire is being localized. All special services are working on site,” he wrote.

Later, the media reported that the services of the Moscow railroad is helping to eliminate the fire at the airfield. Three fire trains with water and foamers were sent to the site.
