As the confrontation between Russia and the West unfolds, it is vital to analyze reality strategically, refraining from panic and excessive criticism of the current Russian system, said political scientist, philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on October 13 in the new issue of his program Destiny.
Otherwise, more and more complicated situations will take place in Ukraine during the special military operation, and extremely undesirable events can happen in Russia’s long-term standing up to the West as a whole, including the elimination of the Russian state, the extermination of Russians and other peoples in our country, believes the political scientist.
Kurginyan is convinced that “it is very important to discuss everything exactly in a strategic way, drawing holistic, large scale, honest conclusions, without any sense of panic or sensationalism regarding the negative traits of the system, because we can win in Ukraine only with the system and the society we have”.
It is necessary to analyze system’s condition during the mobilization, recognize and correct mistakes with a “clear mindset focused, first, on victory, and, second, on the fact that there can be no frantic criticism of the existing reality, since we will have to overcome leaning predominantly on this current reality,” emphasizes the political scientist.
Kurginyan believes that, now, there is only one way to turn the situation around – highlight and focus on healthy aspects of Russian society; while, severely punish “obvious troublemakers who disrupt law and order and cause corrupting chaos.”
“We must accompany and support the current reality while creating centers of a different reality. Without that, this reality will not last. But it must be a coordinated action. Anything else will only lead to a defeat. We are not there yet. But it can happen literally in the next six months, if we do not take appropriate measures,” believes the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
