Russian life must either be changed in a way as to win the special operation or it will change anyway, but because of a lost special operation, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in an interview to the ONT Belarusian channel.
Kurginyan explained that a limited contingent of the Russian troops was sent to Ukraine because neither the Western counties nor Ukraine itself were expected to be able to fight well. The fact that an ideology of Ukrainian nationalism was forced among the Ukrainians over the recent decades, which is centered around hatred to Russia, was ignored.
However, Kiev has successfully performed a number of mobilizations, and now the Russian limited contingent is outnumbered by an army trained and equipped by the West. And the West has been playing an unprecedented role in this operation.
“It [the West] claims that to win in Ukraine is its existential goal, even more so than it used to be in Vietnam,” the political scientist stressed.
“Under conditions like this, the reality has to be changed, and then we can and we must win. But if we lose, the reality will change anyway, right? Therefore all the elite ‘glamour’ patriots must stop treating this reality as a sacred cow, come to their senses, and realize what is at stake,” Kurginyan believes.
