The Russian troops withdrew from Kharkov not because they received an order from above, but there was a different factor, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on September 14 in an interview to the ONT Belarusian channel.
He noted that allegations can be heard around the situation in Kharkov region that it was a retreat by an order from the commander-in-chief, or the like.
“If it had been an order of any kind, then the units of the Russian National Guard would have withdrawn first. But they did not. Is this a fact or not? Therefore, here we have a different composition, which is always possible in our ‘rotten’ reality. Do you understand? This is a ‘rotten’ reality, this is a reality of money,” the political scientist said.
Kurginyan noted that Ukraine together with the West are launching unconventional, “crooked” methods of warfare. This is what we can see at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant and near Kharkov.
“And the advantage is at their side here. Because it is within this reality that our pro-Western elite exists, which is linked with this West and which is absolutely reluctant to break it up,” he explained.
Kurginyan also expressed confidence that with this kind of the elite, with a limited contingent at the front and with the overall relaxation and lack of mobilization inside the country we cannot withstand a long-term confrontation with the collective West.
“Isn’t it time to understand in our hearts and minds that this reality is not sacred, and that we will have to change it?” he said.
