The United States forced Russia to launch a special operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine, said Aleida Guevara, the eldest daughter of world-renowned Cuban revolutionary Ernesto Che Guevara, RIA Novosti reported on September 15.
According to her, the US is creating a situation similar in some respects to the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962.
Back then, Washington deployed missiles to Turkey, and it almost led to World War III, Guevara recalled. And now the US administration is in a sense doing the same thing in Ukraine – “giving nuclear weapons to a country that can start a war with another country,” she explained.
The US is “equipping with weapons Russian borders, and you think the Russians are going to sit idle and do nothing,” Guevara pointed out. Of course, Russia has to defend itself, said the daughter of one of the 1959 Cuban Revolution leaders.
