A great scale realignment of forces in the West is taking place, whilst the US is solving the issue of how to weaken Europe, and the European elites deal with a sharp decline in the living standards of its population, said philosopher, political scientist, leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on September 7 on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio.
“Weakening Europe is one of the US’ strategic goals,” noted the political scientist. Among other ways, this task is currently being solved by disconnecting Europe from Russia’s cheap raw materials.
Europe faces another strategic challenge – a sharp decline in the living standards for the Europeans. Europe wants to move away from those times when its men and women spoiled by comfort worked a little and got paid a lot compared to workers in Southeast Asia.
Since the mid-20 century, one of Europe’s great achievements was the ability to take a shower twice a day, recalled Kurginyan. “Now they say: ‘Don’t bathe — wipe yourself with wet towels. What does it mean? This means that later they will say: “You can wash once a week”. And, according to the expert, the Europeans will be happy they are allowed to do this.
According to Kurginyan, in response to questions the European workers will ask regarding sharply declined wages, they will hear the following answer: “You see, now Putin makes everyone suffer, and you will have to be paid five times less. And then we’ll be able to rely on you, and not on the Chinese who are our adversaries.”
There is a large scale realignment of forces in the West, and the West “knows what it’s doing”, stressed Kurginyan. The quality of the Western elites leaves much to be desired: they are lethargic, they lack intelligence and posses other flaws. But they know what they’re doing, that’s for sure. “Therefore, we need to know what to do too,” urged the expert.
The political scientist warned those Russian politicians who hope for the wise discretion of European elites before winter comes, and those who count on the following scenario: “now we will freeze the Europeans, they will become sad and start loving us again.” This won’t happen, given the strategic European task to reduce the living standards of its own population, assured the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
