The People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) liberated the Uglegorsk thermal power plant in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) from the Ukrainian military, Izvestia reported on July 24.
As it became known, the territory of the Uglegors TPP is completely blocked, and at the moment it is being mopped up.
“The territory of the plant is completely blocked. But not yet mopped up,” the acting head of Gorlovka administration Ivan Prikhodko wrote on his Telegram channel.
He also added that half of the territory of Novoluganskoye was under the control of the DPR People’s Militia. He also shared unconfirmed information about the withdrawal of Ukrainian armed forces from Semigorye. If this information is confirmed and the Ukrainian military has not withdrawn from Novoluganskoye before morning, they may be surrounded.
